Ingredients
  • 1 nos. Licious Mediterranean Prawns
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
Pre-cooking Prep:
  1. Remove the prawns from the packet and place it in a bowl. Toss and massage the prawns to refresh the marinade.
On the Hob Method:
  1. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a non-stick frypan over a medium flame.
  2. Place the prawn pieces one at a time allowing the side to sear.
  3. When the side browns, turn it over and allow the other side to brown too.
  4. A brown colour enhances the taste of the final product.
  5. Sprinkle some water into the pan and put a lid on to capture the moistness of the meat and avoid the meat from burning.
  6. Continue to cook over a low flame.
Oven method:
  1. Warm up the oven up to 180 degree Celsius or gas mark 4.
  2. Heat up a teaspoon of oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium flame.
  3. Place the prawns for half minute on each side, turn it over and allow the other side to brown.
  4. Transfer the pieces from pan into a baking tray and cook it in the oven.
  5. When ready, remove the tray out of the oven. Place the prawns in a serving dish. Time: 15 to 20 mins.
Microwave Method:
  1. Not recommended. This will dry out the pieces from inside and make it rubbery.
Grill Method:
  1. This is for the ones who love the smoky flavour. If you do have a barbecue grill at home, don’t hesitate for a second to light it up, as Licious products are completely home on a grill. Time: 15 to 20 mins.
Post-cooking method:
  1. Once cooked allow the pieces to rest for about 5 minutes before serving it.
