Ingredients
  • 1 nos. Licious Habanero Chicken Wings
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions
Pre-cooking Prep:
  1. Remove the meat from the packet and place it in a bowl. Toss and massage the meat to refresh the marinade.
On the Hob Method:
  1. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a non-stick frypan over a medium flame.
  2. Place the meat pieces one at a time allowing the side to sear.
  3. Once the side browns, turn it over and allow the other side to brown too.
  4. A golden caramel brown colour is not only a feast to the eyes, but also enhances the taste of the final product.
  5. Sprinkle some water into the pan and put a lid on to capture the moistness of the meat and avoid the meat from burning.
  6. Towards the end of the cooking process, you could sprinkle water, and scrape the bottom of the pan, to dissolve all the essences that have dried out in the bottom of the pan.
  7. It would reduce into a thick shiny liquid which is very flavourful and could be used to coat the pieces before serving hot and glistening. Before serving, make sure the meat is well cooked.
Oven Method:
  1. Warm the chicken pieces up to 180 degree Celsius or gas mark 4.
  2. Heat up a teaspoon of oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium flame.
  3. Place the chicken pieces for half minute on each side, turn it over and allow the other side to brown.
  4. Transfer the pieces from pan into a baking tray and cook it in the oven.
  5. When ready, remove the tray out of the oven. Place the chicken pieces in a serving dish.
  6. Add some water to the baking pan and either heat it up over a hob or place it back in the oven. Scrap the bottom of the pan and allow everything to dissolve into an aromatic essence. Time: 20 to 30 mins approximately
Microwave Method:
  1. Not recommended. This will dry out the meat from inside and won’t brown the outside.
Grill Method:
  1. This is for the ones who love the smoky flavour in meats. If you do have a barbecue grill at home, don’t hesitate for a second to light it up, as Licious meats are completely at home on a grill. Time: 20 to 30 mins approximately.
Post-cooking Method:
  1. Once cooked allow the meat to rest for about 5 minutes before serving it.

Garnish suggestions:

Avoid a protein overdose if you are serving just the meat. Add in a salad, a carb like a pasta and sprinkle some crisps like fried garlic or onion rings.
